Apple Cider Vinegar Test for Possible Gastric Ulcer

On an empty stomach, have client drink 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar in water. Note the time. (Make sure client has eaten at least 2 hours prior to taking this test.)

Have on hand Nature’s Sunshine Stomach Comfort Chewables.

If pain occurs within 5-10 minutes, it may indicate gastritis or stomach ulcer. If pain occurs after 30 minutes, it may indicate duodenal ulcer.

If no pain, indicates no ulcer or gastritis.
