Energy Soup

Energy Soup Recipe

Ann Wigmore’s Personal Recipe

Energy soup can be made in a variety of ways; most important is that we have greens, sprouts, seaweed and good fats.  You might want to include a few carrots or celery, other types of greens, more water; the major idea here is that you eat it raw and that you chew, chew, chew.  No drinking, even with this liquid meal.

1 cup filtered water or Rejuvelac (see recipe) – fermented liquid(substitute whey from Greek yogurt if needed)

1-2 cups sprouts (Mung, buckwheat, sunflower, etc.)

2 organic Apples –

3-5 cups greens

1 whole organic Avocado

1 teaspoon organic Dulse or Kelp flakes(if you can’t handle seaweed, take iodine)

1 inch organic ginger

1 clove garlic

1 pinch Celtic sea salt

1 pinch organic Cayenne pepper

1 pinch fresh or dried herbs (optional – cilantro, basil, rosemary, garlic, ginger or cayenne pepper)

Directions:

Add liquid to your Vita Mix or blender

Next add sprouts and apple.

Blend until smooth.

Next add organic greens and blend again.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Transfer Energy Soup to bowls and garnish with sunflower sprouts and dulse flakes.

Refrigerate leftover soup in a sealed jar.

Make sure to eat the balance of our Energy Soup on the same day.

Enjoy !!
