What to Do for a Summer Cold or the Flu

GOT A SUMMER COLD?  SPRING TIME ALLERGIES? These are some things you might try if you want to alkalize and recover quickly. We have to act quickly and consistently to stop the virus in its tracks!

Take 10000 IU of Vitamin C 3 X daily.

Drink the two drinks listed below.

(1)  Virus Fighting Energy Soup

In your blender – place the following ingredients, all in at one time:

  • 1/2 red onion (peeled)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of parsley
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 cup of green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup of cucumber
  • Add sea salt and cayenne pepper to taste, blend and serve!
(2) If  you are not one to drink green smoothies, try bone broth.  Boil organic, free-range chicken, turkey, fish or beef bones along with celery, onions, and garlic and a bit of apple cider vinegar.  Cook down to a mush and drink  the broth; blending the vegetables in with the broth adds nutrition but may be a little harder to digest.
(3) Healing Smoothie – Organic Produce.  If you can’t find all organic, wash and peel everything well.
  • 2 grapefruits, peeled – leave as much white as possible.
  • 1 lemon with skin – organic only.
  • 1.5 inches of fresh ginger.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 2 apples.
  • Optional:  2 cups fresh berries – cranberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries would be fine.

Blend or juice this recipe  to drink through the day; it is a great cleansing recipe as well.

Mix in some of your vitamin C powder and drink rose hips or hibiscus tea to completely recover.
